Delta Omega House Campaign Information

With more than 40 years of distinguished history, the Delta Omega chapter at Texas A&M is building for the next 40 years with an exciting opportunity that students, alumni, parents, and friends can participate in and cherish!  The Delta Omega Housing Corporation, in partnership with Pi Kappa Phi Properties, is proud to launch the “Honoring the Past and Building the Future” campaign to complete the new home and lodge construction project at Texas A&M University!

In May 2019, the Housing Corporation sold our former home of nearly 25 years at 1401 Athens to a developer, repurposing the site for a sorority house.  By harvesting the equity built up at 1401 Athens, we were able to take the next step in our housing history with the purchase of nearly 5 acres just off Raymond Stotzer Parkway in College Station.

Over the past year, with assistance from Pi Kappa Phi Properties, the new development project has gone from an idea to architectural plans, and with your help is now a reality with building efforts already underway.

As a new member, you may remember becoming familiar with the Pi Kappa Phi Student Creed, the roadmap for commitment to a lifelong membership in our beloved Fraternity.  Within the Creed  it reminds us that membership means we each take personal responsibility for our share of the financial burden of the chapter.  We all remember what it was like to wish we had alumni, parents, and friends in place to aid in the success of the chapter.  Now is that time.  With nearly 1000 initiates, we are now calling on you to join this effort and “bear your share” of this incredible opportunity 40 years in the making!

The property will consist of 20-single bedrooms with individual bathrooms in the residence. The lodge building will have a meeting space, restrooms, a commercial kitchen, a large social room, and a covered outdoor patio.  The decision for singles was to meet current trends on college campuses.  Please refer back to the “Welcome Home to Delta Omega” page for more information and floor plans of the project.

With a fundraising goal of $250,000 for this project, your tax-deductible gift will mark your place in this historic effort.  There are many naming opportunities at varying levels for participation, so everyone can participate in some form of a gift.

We encourage you to consider your fraternity experience, the memories we shared, and the unique opportunity we have in making a lasting impact for the next 40 years and beyond. This will be a property that will help ensure the long-term viability and strength of the undergraduate chapter while providing a meaningful place all of us will be proud to return home to and celebrate our bonds of brotherhood together.
